Ultrasound-Guided Injections

Ultrasound-guided injections are a nonoperative, outpatient procedure designed to provide relief for patients with various orthopedic injuries and conditions. During an ultrasound-guided injection, the doctor uses an ultrasound machine to see the targeted area, such as a joint, tendon, or muscle.

Conditions Treated by Ultrasound-Guided Injections

  • Pain Management: Delivering medications directly to a painful area can provide relief and reduce inflammation.
