BIOGRAPHY:
Mark D. Aierstok M.D. was raised in Rhinebeck, NY and is board certified in both Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He completed his medical degree from East Tennessee State University and his orthopedic training in the United States Army at Tripler Army Medical Center. He then spent four years as an orthopedic surgeon for the 10th Mountain Infantry Division at Fort Drum, NY. During this time, he was deployed to the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq (Baghdad ER).
Dr. Aierstok is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (F.A.A.O.S.). He is also a member of the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Aierstok resides in Dutchess County with his wife and four children. He enjoys volunteering for his local youth sports teams and running.
