Telemedicine Services

AT ORTHOPEDIC ASSOCIATES OF DUTCHESS COUNTY

Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is pleased to announce that we have a fully functioning telemedicine service available for our patients. During this time of crisis our providers will be offering a virtual patient visit for those who qualify.

Patients who require an in-person visit for x-rays, MRI, EMG, casting and bracing will still be able to be seen by our providers.

If you must come to the office for a visit, we will be screening you at the front door for symptoms and taking your temperature. Please come to the visit alone, if possible. Guests are not permitted into the building at this time (unless they must assist the patient).

Frequently Asked Questions

No, you don’t need to create an account.
When scheduling your appointment you can choose to contact your provider using your phone for a voice only call or computer/cellphone/tablet for a video chat.

Once you have an appointment we will send you either a dial in number or a link to click to contact your provider at your scheduled time.

Once you are checked in, your provider will start the call when they are ready.
All data is encrypted, patient sessions are anonymous (doxy.me won’t know who you are) and no patient information is stored persistently. We use the AES cipher with 128-bit keys to encrypt audio/video, and HMAC-SHA1 to verify data integrity.
