Regenerative Cellular Therapies, or Concentrated Bone Marrow Aspirate, contains all of the healing and growth factors contained in PRP, with additional healing cells called pluripotent cells.

Bone marrow is the tissue that is found in the hollow spaces in the interior of our bones. It is known that a significant source of our body’s adult stem cells are contained within our bone marrow. It is also known that these have the potential of positively contributing to healing. Blood and tissue can be harvested from the several bones in the body, the most popular being the hip, tibia and calcaneus, in an outpatient setting via an aspiration device.

Similar to PRP, a centrifugation device is used to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, as well as the pluripotent (or stem) cells, creating an injectable product that is delivered directly to the site of injury, jump-starting the healing cascade.
