Biography

Landon Brown, MD completed his orthopedic surgery residency, serving as administrative chief resident during his 5th year, at Penn State Bone and Joint Institute. He then completed an additional ACGME accredited fellowship training in Adult Total Joint Reconstructive Surgery at Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. As a joint replacement specialist, his interests include rapid recovery total joint replacement, direct anterior hip replacement, minimally invasive joint reconstruction, robotic assisted joint replacement surgery and computer navigation assisted total joint reconstruction.

Dr. Brown is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Medical Association. He is very enthusiastic to continue advancements in orthopedics through research and education.

Dr. Brown and his wife enjoy spending time with their son Oliver in the outdoors, including hiking, fly fishing and bicycling. They are also very active in their local church.
