PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS Orthopedic Associates Physician Assistants are health care professionals who were specifically chosen by our Physician because of their resumes. Physician Assistants are trained in intensive education programs accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Because of the close working relationship the PAs have with physicians, Physician Assistants are educated in the medical model designed to complement physician training.
Meet Our Physician Assistants
Warren Sheprow RPA-C
Warren Sheprow is originally from Port Jefferson, New York. He received his degree in Physician Assistant Education from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1998. Afterwards he continued his education, attending the Yale University School of Medicine/Norwalk Hospital Surgical Residency Program, which he completed in 1999. Prior to joining Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in 2001, he worked at Saint Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie as part of the trauma team.
Before choosing a career in health care Warren Sheprow was a member of the United States Marine Corps, and is currently a commissioned officer in the United States Army. Judith Schachte RPA-C
Judith Schachte, originally from Agawam, Massachusetts, joined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. She received her Masters of Health Science degree and Physician Assistant Certificate from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut. Afterwards, she continued her education attending the Yale University School of Medicine/Norwalk Hospital Surgical Residency program. Prior to joining Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County she was employed by Norwalk Hospital as part of the general surgery/trauma team. She was also active instructor in the Norwalk Hospital Residency program. In her free time, Judith enjoys running, cycling, skiing and spending time with her husband.
Kate Hefferon RPA-C
Kate was born in Wichita, Kansas and spent many years traveling around the US following her father with the Air Force. Kate joined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in 2005 and has become a valued member of our team. She received a Bachelor of Physician Assistant Studies while serving in the US Army at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. She also completed a Master’s of Physician assistant Studies at Fort Riley, Kansas through University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Prior to joining OADC, Kate worked as a labor and Delivery Nurse at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.
In her free time, she enjoys being mom to her son, cooking, reading and working out.
Kristen Miller RPA-C Kristin Miller, of Tivoli, New York, joined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in the Fall of 2006. Kristin received her Undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Ithaca College in 2004. She continued her education at Arcadia University where she received her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant in 2006. In her free time, Kristin enjoys running, kayaking and spending time in the outdoors.
Sijo Padannamackal, RPA-C Sijo Padannamackal is originally from Tappan, NY. He received degree in Physician Assistant Studies from New York Institute of Technology/New York College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Old Westbury, NY. Prior to attending NYIT/NYCOM he served for 4 years in the U.S Army as a Combat Medic. In his free time Sijo enjoys playing Basketball, Playing Poker and spending time with family and friends
Heidi Lim, RPA-C Heidi graduated from University of Arizona in 1989 with BS and PharmD degrees then Emory University where she earned a Masters degree in the Physician Assistant program in 1996. After working in rural Georgia doing Family Practice and Emergency Medicine, Heidi did travel PA work in different remote villages in Alaska. Then she headed south to the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica and worked for 5 years as the Physician Assistant for the winter crews. Heidi settled down in the Hudson Valley area in early 2009 and joined OADC in March 2009
Marci Sauliner RPA-C
Marci rejoined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in the fall of 2009 after graduating from Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Marci originally joined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in December 2003 as a certified athletic trainer and worked in the Physical Therapy Department until June 2007. She left to pursue her master’s degree and returned to the practice as a physician assistant.
In addition to her master’s degree from Stony Brook University, Marci earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the State University of New York College at Cortland as well as an Associate in Science and an Associate in Arts from Dutchess Community College. In her free time, Marci enjoys reading, working out, and hiking
Stephen Lebitsch FNP Stephen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and his Masters of Science degree for Family Health Nurse Practitioner from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. As part of the family nurse practitioner graduate program, He received clinical training within the following areas: adult health/internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and women's health. Prior to joining Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County, Stephen worked as a nurse practitioner for 6 years in Occupational Health at the corporate headquarters of a chemical manufacturer in Norwalk, CT. Prior to that, he worked as a nurse practitioner for a pediatric/adolescent medicine practice in Carmel, NY for 4 years. Before choosing a career in health care, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and worked in business operations for a ship brokerage company in Danbury, CT. Stephen's professional affiliations include: Membership, The Nurse Practitioner Association, New York State. In Stephen free time he enjoys exercising, fishing, reading, and spending time with his wife and two sons.

Lindsey Bauer RPA-C
Lindsey Bauer was born and raised in the Hudson Valley. She joined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in January 2010.
Lindsey received her undergraduate degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry at SUNY Oneonta in 2007. She then received her degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Pace University in 2009.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys cycling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
