RONALD S. SCHEINZEIT, MD 
Ronald S. Scheinzeit, born in Schenectady, New York, is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He has been practicing with Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County since 1979. He earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Although Dr. Scheinzeit is experienced in all forms of orthopedic surgery, he is particularly interested in hand surgery and pediatric orthopedics.
Dr. Scheinzeit is a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (F.A.A.O.S.) He is the past Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at Vassar Brothers Medical Center and past President of Vassar Brothers Medical and Dental Staff. Dr. Scheinzeit has played an active role in various professional committees and programs.
On a personal level, Dr. Scheinzeit enjoys scuba diving and activities with his family.
