Samant S Virk, MD
Samant S. Virk, MD, born and raised locally (Hopewell Junction), is a Board Eligible Neurologist and Pain Management Physician. He completed his Internship in Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital Center followed by residency training in Neurology at the State University of New York Medical Center Downstate in New York City and, finally, Fellowship in Pain Management at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) as well as the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP).
With his background in Neurology he utilizes the most up to date strategies combining medications and Physical Therapy with minimally invasive procedures to treat acute and chronic pain primarily related to the neck and back.
While he devotes much of his time to work, he does maintain active hobbies including skiing, running, and tennis. He is married with boy/girl twins. Curriculum Vitae:
