As a proponent for aggressive non-surgical treatment of spine disorders, Dr. Barrick employs minimally invasive surgical techniques in only the most extreme cases to alleviate painful spinal conditions. He pioneered the techniques of Kyphoplasty, total disc replacement and minimally invasive spine fusion in Dutchess County. He was re-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2007. He is an instructor for Depuy Spine and Kyphon, teaching other surgeons the latest surgical procedures.
