MICHAEL W. SCHWEPPE, MD
Michael W. Schweppe, originally from Queens, New York, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He joined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in 2001. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and graduated with honors in 1984. After serving in the US Army for seven years as an airborne ranger infantry officer, Dr. Schweppe attended medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, graduating in 1995. He completed his residency training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 2001, and is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Trained in all areas of orthopedic surgery, Dr. Schweppe is particularly interested in orthopedic trauma and sports injuries.
When he is not working, Dr. Schweppe enjoys yoga, cycling, kayaking and spending time with his wife, four children, and three dogs. Curriculum Vitae
