LAWRENCE J. KUSIOR, MD

Lawrence J. Kusior is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (F.A.A.O.S.). He is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. Originally from Ogdensburg, New York, Dr. Kusior earned his medical degree at the Health Science Center at Syracuse. He completed his orthopedic training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center (UMMC). He also completed an additional year of subspecialty training in Sports Medicine at the Ohio State University Medical Center.

Dr. Kusior has extensive training in the latest arthroscopic technique for knee ligaments and cartilage surgery. He also is trained in cutting edge arthroscopic shoulder surgery, allowing minimally invasive rotator cuff and instability repairs to be performed. His level I trauma training from UMMC has allowed Dr. Kusior to treat fractures from the simple to the complex.


In his free time Dr. Kusior enjoys power lifting, ice hockey, and most of all spending time outdoors with his wife and children.
