DAVID V. DIMARCO, MD
David V. DiMarco, a native of the Hudson Valley, has been practicing in the area since 1988. He attended medical school in Padua, Italy before earning his medical degree from Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York City. Dr. DiMarco received his orthopedic training at Mt. Sinai and Downstate Medical in Brooklyn.
Currently, Dr. DiMarco is on the Board of Trustees at St. Francis Hospital, and previously served as chief of the division of St. Francis Hospital's orthopedic surgery. He has been honored as physician of the year at Vassar Brothers Hospital for his commitment to strengthening the nurse/physician relationship.
Dr. DiMarco is experienced in sports medicine, trauma, and has advanced experience in arthroscopic techniques of the shoulder, knee, elbow, wrist, hip, and ankle.
When not weightlifting, Dr. DiMarco can usually be found following preparing to throw the shot-put, discus and javelin at the empire State Games.
