CARL BARBERA, M.D.
Carl Barbera, a board certified orthopedic surgeon, received his medical degree from the State University of New York Medical School, Downstate Medical Center. He continued his orthopedic training at that same institution, and Kings County Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan.

Dr. Barbera joined Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County in 2003, after holding academic appointments and faculty teaching positions at the State University of New York since 1988, and practicing orthopedic surgery in New York City for 15 years.


Dr. Barbera is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (F.A.A.O.S), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S). His other memberships include the New York State Medical Society, American Medical Association, Dutchess County Medical Society, and International Society of Limb Salvage.


Dr. Barbera practices general orthopedics, and specializes in the treatment of benign and malignant tumors of bones and soft tissue.
