Revision Reconstructive Surgeon joins Practice
Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is pleased to announce that Dr. Frank Lombardo will be joining the practice on August 24.  He received his medical degree from the SUNY Health Science Center in Stony Brook, New York. During his studies he completed a fellowship in basic science at the Center for Biomechanical Engineering, studying the molecular intricacies of bone healing. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at North Shore Hospital on Long Island. After residency he completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at The Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institution, Virginia.


Dr. Lombardo is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon and is board certified in Joint Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Dutchess County Medical Society.


Dr. Lombardo has extensive training in non-operative and operative management
of hip and knee arthritic conditions in adults and pediatric patients. He specializes in Primary and Revision Joint Surgery. He is trained and proficient in Gender Specific Hip and Knee Replacements, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Partial Knee Replacements and Muscle Sparing Anterior Hip Arthroplasty.

Dr. Lombardo grew up on Long Island, NY and presently resides in Red Hook, NY with his wife Marianna and son Frankie and daughter Gianna. Dr. Lombardo enjoys making traditional and 18th century furniture during his leisure time.
