Marc T. Bartholdi OTR, CHT
Marc T. Bartholdi OTR, CHT is a registered occupational therapist with an advanced certification in hand therapy. He joined OADC in 2003 to develop and manage the hand therapy program. Marc graduated from college with a BS in Occupational Therapy in 1997. In 1998, Marc became the youngest therapist to complete the hand therapy fellowship at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX, the largest medical center in the world. Afterwards, he returned to Houston and became a clinical instructor for the hand therapy fellowship program and managed a hand therapy clinic which rendered services to many college and professional athletes. Marc is currently the only fellowship trained occupational/certified hand therapist in Dutchess County.
Outside work Marc enjoys skiing, outdoor activities, and spending time with his friends and family
Heather Kelly OTR, CHT
Heather Kelly OTR, CHT is a registered occupational therapist and a certified hand therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She began her career as an active duty service member in the Army Medical Specialists Corps. After leaving the service, she decided to specialize in hand therapy. “I love helping a person transform their injured hand into a functional part of their body- and I love watching the transformation that occurs in a person’s affect as that arm recovers!”
After moving nine times as an army spouse, Heather is happy to settle here in the Hudson Valley where she grew up
Carol Dollard OTR, CHT
Carol Dollard OTR, CHT is a registered occupational therapist and a certified hand therapist with over sixteen years of clinical experience. She is originally from Pennsylvania and earned her occupational therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Carol worked at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, where her primary treatment focus was burn care. She also presented burn rehabilitation lectures to the local universities’ occupational and physical therapy programs. In 1996, Carol became a certified hand therapist and began to focus her treatment on outpatient upper extremity rehabilitation in Delaware and Maryland.
She joined OADC’s hand therapy team in 2004 after relocating to the Hudson Valley.
Deana Forlenza MS, OTR/L
Deana Forlenza MS, OTR/L. Recently Deana has graduated from Quinnipiac University’s accelerated master’s program for occupational therapy. In 2007 Deana first received a Bachelors degree in Health Science and then in 2009 she received her Masters in Occupational Therapy. While finishing her course work for her master’s degree Deana interned at OADC from October to December of 2008. Deana is now an employee at OADC and is working towards becoming a certified hand therapist.
Outside of work Deana enjoys hanging out with friends and family. Her hobbies include playing the guitar, listening to music and reading.
Christina McGrath COTA
Christina McGrath COTA is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with over seven years of clinical experience specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. She began her career as a Rehabilitation Technician for Empire State Occupational Therapy in Somers, NY in 1999. In 2000, Christina completed her Associates degree in occupational therapy from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Upon graduation, Christina returned to the rehabilitation team at Empire State Occupational Therapy as an occupational therapy assistant specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. In 2003, she accepted a position as an occupational therapy assistant at a private hand therapy clinic in Poughkeepsie, NY. Christina continued her career in upper extremity rehabilitation when she joined the hand therapy team at OADC in 2005.
When Christina is not working, she loves spending her time with her husband and twin boys. In her quiet time she enjoys watching movies, reading, and completing crossword puzzles to relax.
