Erin Johnson, MS, ATC has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2000. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Truman State University in Kirksville Missouri and went on to receive her Master’s in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2002. While at MSU she completed a two year long graduate assistantship in Athletic Training and worked with the school’s Division 1 football and basketball athletes.

Prior to beginning her employment with us in 2004, Erin worked extensively in orthopedics treating a variety of sports related injuries. She is currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Rhinebeck High School.

Erin’s interests are in core and functional dynamic training techniques, specifically as they apply to the rehabilitation of field athletes. She has completed professional continuing education coursework in these areas.

In her spare time Erin enjoys running, the outdoors, and spending time with her husband, family and Kenai, her Yellow Labrador Retriever.
