Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join our team of dedicated professionals to perform electrodiagnostic testing.  This would include EMG/NCV testing.

Come join our team of professionals! Surgical practice currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (Orthopedic experience preferred) to work in our fast paced offices. Our team of Medical Assistants are trained on multiple skills unique to Orthopedics such as, post-operative care, cast application/removal, durable medical equipment application, assisting providers with injections/minor procedures, and more. Daily hours typically range from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Travel to Poughkeepsie, Rhinebeck and Kington locations required, shift flexibility required for coverage

Orthopedic Associates is seeking a Health Information Specialist. Qualified applicant will possess or be willing to learn knowledge of HIPAA. Desired qualifications include the ability to have strong attention to detail and have superior communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of medical terminology is very helpful. The Medical Records/Health Information Management Department is responsible for scanning clinical paperwork into practice EMR as directed by practice protocol. Other responsibilities include: Process requests from patients in office, answer telephone to assist patients in retrieving copies of medical records, work with document management company to process requests, communicate with attorneys, insurance companies and Nurse Case Managers regarding patient work status and degree of disability, abide by NYS and Federal Law in processing records requests and follow all office protocol and policies as established by the practice.

Experience in medical records and or medical attorney office definitely a plus but willing to train someone looking to learn a new career!
