Varuni Rao graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM), NY. She is Board Certified in Rheumatology  and completed Internal Medicine Residency at New York Medical College (NYMC)/Westchester Medical Center, NY. She also served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Rao completed Rheumatology Fellowship at NYMC/Westchester Medical Center, NY. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYMC.

Dr. Rao participates as a Volunteer Medical Advisor for Arthritis Foundation, NY chapter.
